SocialEats now provides an RSS Feed featuring all of the upcoming events. Now, you're probably thinking - what the heck does that mean?
What is RSS? RSS is a method of disseminating information over the web. It's kind of like a blog, it's kind of like a web site, it's kind of like e-mail. Here's how it works, SocialEats creates and periodically modifies the RSS feed here on the SocialEats web site. You subscribe to this feed using an RSS reader (sometimes called an aggregator), your reader will automatically check to see if the feed has been updated, and if it has been, the new posts appear in your reader like unread messages in your e-mail inbox.
So now you're thinking, do I have to install some new software or subscribe to something? Probably not! Odds are, if you currently subscribe to a friend's blog, or have the latest version of a web browser you already have one. The following is a list of applications and web sites you may already have and use which support RSS feeds. This is only a partial list, and more applications are supporting RSS every day.
